We also offer Samsung Care+ that can be added to eligible devices that would offer you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to your protecting your investment. Samsung Care+ comes in handy for those unfortunate situations in life like leaving your device behind on public transportation, having it stolen, taking an unexpected dip in the neighbor's pool, to dropping it and shattering the screen while bringing in groceries. Plus, having over 700 authorized repair locations to take your device to helps you get back to what you love most in life. As you know, you can set the screen to turn off after a set amount of time. From Settings, tap Display > Screen timeout, and tap a time limit to set it. You can also Tap Keep screen on while viewing to use the front camera to detect your face and keep the screen on. However, prolonged display of non-moving images, excluding Always On Display, may result in permanent ghost-like afterimages or degraded image quality. Turn off the display screen when not in use. Smart Switch is a convenient app that lets you quickly transfer files from your old phone to a new Galaxy phone. But what kinds of files are compatible? If you're wondering, we have all the information you need about what kind of content you can transfer with Smart Switch. Not all content can be backed up and transferred with Smart Switch. Here are the files that are excluded from a backup: * Contacts: Contacts saved on the SIM card, social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), Google accounts, and work email accounts are excluded. * Calendar: Appointments synced with external accounts, such as Google, and calendar stickers are excluded. * App data: Data saved in private storage cannot be backed up. * Email: Social Hub and Premium accounts (Push email) are excluded. * Live wallpapers and themes: Live wallpapers and themes are excluded. You can reinstall these from the Galaxy Store. Is this device waterproof?
This device is water resistant, not waterproof. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus is water resistant with an IP68 rating, which means it can withstand being submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes, meaning water splashing or light rain will not be a problem. ~Peter
