When paired to my iPhone 12 through Bluetooth, I think they sound even better - it doesn't seem to make sense that there's a difference, but we definitely noticed a difference between his A10 and my iPhone. It must be the EQ that the phone applies to the music that boosts the mid range on the iPhone by default, because I'm not aware of where such settings are for me to modify in the app I use: YT Music.
I’ve worn Apple EarPods (non pro) for years. I forget I have them in when not listening to music. With noise isolating you hear your voice weird. Like wearing earplugs. Not for me. Other than that their are some pluses and minuses for iPhone users.
Pluses: way better touch controls, cooler styling
Minuses: bigger case, no case battery status on iPhone, the in-ear detection sensor is sensitive and the music would pause and play randomly and often. You can turn off the in-ear detection to resolve this.
As far as sound quality… very comparable.
I think the software that's running these earbuds is the main problem. The building quality is excellent, exceeding Apple's Airpods in my opinion. The sound quality is pretty much on par as well, and it's nice that these have an effective noise cancelling feature which you can't get on Apple's regular earbuds currently. Battery life is pretty good as well, and it seems like these have more range than my old Airpods.
When these earbuds are working, they're a great value for the money. It's the whole reason I originally chose the Nothing Ear 1 over the Airpod Pro. But after having dealt with the numerous bugs these earbuds have, I kind of wish I just went with the Airpod Pro's. I'm constantly having to do hard resets on these earbuds to get them to connect properly. I'm not sure why, but the slightest movements will cause glitches despite me turning off certain settings that would prompt such a problem to occur. For example, if I swivel my head quickly or sit down abruptly, the Nothing Ear 1's will sometimes either pause the sound, or completely disconnect one or both of the earbuds forcing me to have to do a hard reset to get the earbuds to connect properly. It's kind of a PITA to do this as often as I have to, and I would've preferred spending the extra money for the Airpod Pro's had I known this was going to be a reoccuring problem with this product.
Other issues:
-Sound in both earbuds is sometimes unsynchronized causing an echoing effect.
-When on a call using these earbuds, I cannot switch to and from transparency mode to noise cancellation unless I end the call, reset the earbuds, then call back.
-One of the earbuds tends to be 10-20% off in battery life compared to the other earbud. To be fair, this is something I've experienced occasionally in my old Airpod's, too.
-These earbuds just don't like to sit right in my ear, but that could just be due to the shape of my ear canal.
-Touch controls seem to work only half the time.
I started reading about other people experiences with the Nothing Ear 1's and I guess there are plenty of other people in the same boat experiencing the same sort of issues I have been experiencing.
*winter update* they still don't work. The left ear has become completely silent, the right ear somewhat normal. Connectivity? Instant. You open the case and boom, you're connected. Would be awesome if both buds worked but yeah we'll figure that out with the 2s or something.
Update: My brother listened to them and bought a pair, and now uses them as much his Bose 350s.

I 100% recommend you to buy these, if you are hesitating, I beg you not you will not regret this purchase, go for it because they will go out of stock due to the high selling points! 10000/10000
De igual forma recomiendo la compra si buscan un salto de calidad de audio desde baja o intermedia, si poseen premium no recomiendo comprarlos, la diferencia será notoria.
I bought these to replace my 2nd pair AirPod Pro's which are giving up life with connectivity issues, broken mic on one side.
Been reading a lot of reviews, and since these are less then half the price of Airpod pro's i gave them a shot.
Very good. Remember to download the app and update the firmware. Sound is great both in noise cancelling and ambience - on par with apple airpods. Fast charging either wireless or USB-C. Very comfortable and comes with three ear bud sizes. Nice design.
Downsides... if I'm being picky... Case is about 1/4 bigger then the airpod pro's and therefore a little more noticeable in the pocket. Also, I'm not a huge fan of tap functions on earphones, cause when you tap you end up pushing the earphone into your ear (if that makes sense) followed by the noise of the tap in your ear.
Any way, great experience. Will probably buy a second pair for the office (cheaper to buy two sets of these then one airpod pro).
